This recording is inspired by the paintings of the late American artist Ed Paschke. I had long been interested in Mr. Paschke’s work when I was fortunate enough to be able to visit a major exhibition of his work at the Art Institute of Chicago over twenty years ago. I remember being amazed at the luminosity of the images on the large canvases, and would never look at painting the same way again. I hope that releasing this work as a dedication to Ed Paschke will prompt the listener to visit www.edpaschke.com and view some of his work.
